On Wednesday, 12 October, the completely renovated Bush Restaurant will open its doors to all our visitors! We drew inspiration for the design and styling of the restaurant from the adventurous world of the Bush tropical rainforest. Months of hard work and dedication went into this project. With great attention to detail and atmosphere, we have created a contemporary restaurant where guest experience, comfort, quality and service are key.
In the renovated Bush Restaurant, you will be immersed in the adventurous and mysterious atmosphere of the Bush, where comfort and service, as well as the quality of the food and drinks, will make you feel immediately welcome. Take a seat in our conservatory and experience the smells, colours and sounds of the tropical rainforest. Watch fruit bats skim by or tropical birds perch gracefully on an overhanging branch while you enjoy a snack and a drink.
The menu is inspired by Asian food stalls—simple, recognisable and tasty street food dishes, which you can normally find in, for example, Bangkok, Singapore and other bustling Asian metropolises. We have given each dish a Burgers' Zoo twist—fresh, artisanal and prepared with attention and love. We choose daily fresh and seasonal ingredients—preferably from local suppliers—and prepare all our products fresh and à la minute in the open kitchen.
We also moved forward on sustainability, addressing the following issues:
LED lighting
Solar panels
Heat pump
Cuttings are recycled as much as possible
The new staff clothing is made of recycled plastic
The new Bush Restaurant lends itself perfectly to larger gatherings thanks to its atmospheric and warm décor, generous layout and artisanal, authentic cuisine. All these ingredients make for a successful, but above all, enjoyable, culinary and informative evening. If we have piqued your interest, don't hesitate to get in touch with events@burgerszoo.nl.
